The course is designed to increase best practice to fulfil our obligations under the Care Act 2014 and reduce queries and complaints.
This is an interactive session giving an in depth overview of key areas in Financial Assessment and Charging including, highlights on the Financial Assessment form, self-funders, deferred payments, the 12 week property disregard, top ups and debt recovery.
The session will take place via Teams meeting online. It is for any Council social workers requiring a refresh, new social workers in the SSA and those new to working at Richmond and Wandsworth.
