MHFA will give you the skills and confidence to recognise symptoms, provide initial help, and guide the person towards appropriate professional help.
Training objectives

  •  preserve life where a person may be a danger to themselves or others.

  •  provide help to prevent mental health problems developing into a more serious state

  •  promote recovery of good mental health

  •  provide comfort to a person experiencing a mental health problem

  •  raise awareness of mental health issues in the community - reduce stigma and discrimination
